Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine grated parmesan cheese (1.5 cups) and bread crumbs (1.5 cups).
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter (1/4 cup) with garlic powder (1 teaspoon) for the garlic bread.
  4. Pat the fish fillets (6) dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Brush each fish fillet with melted butter (2 tablespoons) and coat evenly with the parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place the coated fillets on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Brush the garlic bread slices (6) with the garlic butter mixture (1/4 cup + 1 teaspoon garlic powder) and place on the same or a separate baking sheet.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish reaches an internal temperature of 145°F and the crust is golden brown. If the garlic bread browns too quickly, remove it earlier.
  9. Serve the baked fish hot with the garlic bread on the side.
