Cheesy Chicken Tenders with Steamed Carrots

Instructions

  1. Shred cheddar cheese (3 cups).
  2. Slice carrots (3 cups).
  3. Beat eggs (3 eggs) in a bowl.
  4. Measure bread crumbs (3 cups) and place in a separate bowl.
  5. Season chicken tenders (12) with salt (1 teaspoon) and pepper (1/2 teaspoon).
  6. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  7. Dip each chicken tender in beaten eggs (3 eggs), then coat with bread crumbs (3 cups).
  8. Place coated tenders on a baking sheet and top with shredded cheddar cheese (3 cups).
  9. Bake for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted.
  10. While chicken is baking, steam carrots (3 cups) for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  11. Serve chicken tenders with steamed carrots.
