Instructions

  1. Mince garlic (6 cloves).
  2. Slice green onions (1/4 cup) and set aside for garnish.
  3. Measure honey (1/2 cup), soy sauce (1/3 cup), and rice vinegar (2 tablespoons).
  4. Rinse 3 cups uncooked white rice until water runs clear, then cook according to package instructions.
  5. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts (3 large) and cook for 6-7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. Reduce heat to medium.
  7. In the same skillet, add minced garlic (6 cloves) and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  8. Add honey (1/2 cup), soy sauce (1/3 cup), and rice vinegar (2 tablespoons). Stir to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  9. Return chicken to skillet, turning to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook for 1-2 more minutes to glaze the chicken.
  10. Serve chicken over steamed rice, spooning extra sauce over the top. Garnish with sliced green onions (1/4 cup).
